PESHAWAR: Tremors were felt in a few parts of the northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa territory on Wednesday. 


As per the Pakistan Meteorological Department, there were no prompt reports of harm or losses. 

The epicenter of the 4.1 size seismic tremor was in the Hindu Kush mountains and its profundity was measured at 89 kilometers. 

The tremors from the shake were felt in Swat, Malakand, Timergara and abutting regions bringing on dread and frenzy among the locals. 

Pakistan and the district, along a dynamic mainland plate limit, is regularly hit by seismic tremors. In September 2013, a greatness 7.7 tremor struck Pakistan's Balochistan territory, murdering no less than 376 individuals.
