SA: A suicide assault aviator smashed an explosives-laden defensively covered vehicle into houses utilized by Shia militiamen north of the Iraqi city of Samarra, killing no less than 17 individuals, police and therapeutic sources said Tuesday. 


The assault occurred in Abbasiya, around 15 kilometers (nine miles) north of Samarra, on Monday nighttime and totally obliterated two houses, the sources said. 

Thirteen individuals were likewise injured. 

"The devastation was immense. Those homes were by the (Tigris) stream and had been demanded by the militiamen to use as a perception post," the cop said.
